Need help with connecting 12v devices to a home electrical outlet?
Well i have an electric pump for a watercooling system and 3 electrical fans. I guess these would be 12v connectors. My power supply has 4 wire connectors. Is there a setup i can do to connect them to outside source instead of my power supply? Anyways i need the power from computer power supply for my hardware. Thanks.
Unless the device has connectors to allow 12 V or 120 V the easiest way is to purchase an additional 12 V power supply. Radio Shack or other electronics store should be able to sell you a 12 volt supply. Add the current of everything you want to connect to it and make sure the power supply has sufficient current capability to supply everything.
